Lacey started learning about computers before graduating high school as early as 1992. She is proficient in DOS and working with Microsoft Windows 3.1., 98, XP, Vista, and 7. She later joined a start-up company designing 3D PC games with the Pie in the Sky game engine and designing websites in html when the internet was first taking face across the world. In 1995 Lacey was hired out to do web design for various bands including a contract under Sony Music Europe based in London, England. Lacey kept doing web design and computer support for Sony until the contract was up and then she looked to take hers career further. In 2005 Lacey went into computer sales and repair as well as IT support under the Firedog services brand, at that time a subsidiary of Circuit City Stores Inc. During that time Lacey enlisted in courses under Microsoft which lead up to her graduating and completing hers Microsoft Certified Professional license for IT Support and Networking. Due to unfortunate company practices Circuit City was later closed. She was then hired on by Structured IT in 2010 and have been working with this exciting team ever since.
Lacey is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ Community and an Advocate for progressive social change and helps with critical support services for Transgender People in the Tri-county area of the upstate.
